Self Development.

Whilst counselling and therapy can be seen as a way to get from 'bad to good', 'distressed to a feeling of 'wellbeing' or from difficult 'confusion to clarity' self development is something of a different ilk and can be in some ways seen as a way of developing part of yourself or your life  not because your life situation is causing you distress but because you feel that you would like to improve upon an already acceptable aspect of yourself but that you would like to use a different service that focuses on your processes both  cognitive and emotional/ felt sense aspects of you in order to move toward bettering yourself and your life.

So whilst your life might be going well and your not in need of counselling the therapeutic relationship can be used to work toward deeper aspects of your wellbeing and or goals that you might have that you would like to develop.

Working on what drives a person in their life can really help them realise who they really are and what they would truly like to be doing with their life. This can help to bring a lot of clarity and direction to a person in who they really feel themselves to be.
